Food Waste – Brighton and Hove Council

Challenge

Brighton and Hove Council wanted to roll out a new food waste collection service to nearly 300,000 residents across the city in phases, maximising take-up, whilst minimising complaints and missed collections.

Solution

I worked with them to co-create their communications and service delivery strategy using the COM-B model and EAST frameworks to drive positive behaviour change and achieve this.

Impact

The impact of my work was clear. Watch what Juliet Evans, Waste Minimisation Officer, Brighton and Hove Council, has to say.
